This article reads like he is breaking some sort of rules.
Of course he is speaking to Conservatives, that is what you do when you form a coalition.

There’s no reason for it other than they are compromised individuals that have gone over to the other side. Their histories don’t seem to show they started out as Leftist infiltrators of the Republican Party, so what is it they are either afraid of, or how much is in their offshore for selling out America?
