If McCarthy hadn’t drunk himself and his career to an early grave, he WOULD have been Ted Cruz a half-century ago. He would have been remembered as one of the lions of the Senate and maybe even have gained higher office.

Like Joe McCarthy, he uses scare tactics to bully his way to the television news screens, despite all logic that these tactics are not only abusive but full of falsehoods. Like McCarthy in the 1950s, he is a dangerous zealot who will capture the ugliest right-wingers to his side, to the detriment of America. Why else would he argue to keep millions from Obamacare, including children younger than 26 of parents with health care, and those with chronic diseases who now are dropped from care? He as a senator has the best of health care, but will lie and spread propaganda to prevent Americans from having the same.

I am amazed at the colossal ignorance of the writer! First of all, Joe McCarthy was CORRECT! Is the writer, in some warped way, praising Cruz? Or, does the writer want to show the world that journalism has been long gone?

I think the writer simply does not know much about anything. His writing is laced with unsupported and unsupportable assertions about the cost of Obamacare, its destructive effects, its unimplementable state, not to mention its unpopularity across the country.

Some readers would like to see more than hysterical, meaningless babble, and perhaps, instead, a rational argument supported by some facts.

They are using the McCarthy script? Good night! They are reaching for an old playbook. The Venona project proved that McCarthy was right and, in this case, Sen. Ted Cruz is right.

Sen. Cruz revealed something that needs to be shouted to the rooftops. Sen. Cruz learned from Sen. Reid that the health care “train wreck,” due to Obamacare is the expected result. It’s intended purpose is to destroy our free market system of medicine (think of the job losses this would create). Sen. Reid knows that when Obamacare destroys the free market health care system, it would cause a crisis that would call for the institution of government controlled single payer socialized medicine. That is what the “train wreck” was designed to do.

These commie DemonRATs are the Devil’s Servants.

Those same Communists inside our government used the personal defamation script against Sen. Joe McCarthy to destroy the truth of communist infiltration in our free nation. Now those same Communists are using the same personal defamation script against Sen. Ted Cruz to hide the Communist infiltration of Obamacare into our free nation.

What is so insane is that these Yahoos are so stupid to make the association and do not realize they are revealing who they are. They are the same Communist that I spent may early years hiding from under my school desk. I never realized that I would find out that Sen. Joe McCarth was right. The Communist are now within.

The venom directed at Cruz is fueled by anti-Hispanic racism. If the libs are going to call critics of Obama racist, libs should be called racists when they attack Cruz.

I believe Cruz has made the bigtime.

How this plays out, remains to be seen, but he’s now way, way out front in so many ways.

Ted Cruz is no republican leader. He’s a conservative leader.
The yelping and screaming from within the GOPe confirms that.

The intensity of hate, Reagan was so hated before he was elected president.

I hear the media and the communists they serve fomenting hate against Cruz, but I hear none of it from the people.

They are proud that he said that, unlike the world that refused to stop the Nazis in 1940, he would be the hero of America and stop Obamacare funding. (He is equating Obamacare to Hitler killing 6 million Jews and Christians.)

Bullshit, that is not what Cruz said.

I watched and he was responding to Senator Kaine from VA who said that he promised his voters that he would support obamacare and why should he change his position.

Cruz responded by saying that prior to 1940, many congress critters promised their voters that they would vote against America going to war, but after circumstances changed, {i.e. December 7, 1941, when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor...

Let him go, he's on a Roll...

After that, all the peace-nicks changed their vote, and most Americans were with them. Kinda like how we feel about obamacare.
