Same wit Russia. Not a peep from them about gays getting arrested, tear gassed, etc. by police. I guess they couldn’t figure out a way to boycott Putin.
More like, Russia and especially Putin, has no problem with pushing the limits against us or other modern nations.
There’s no problem with homosexuality in Russia, don’t walk outside naked or clad in a thong, and they really don’t care. Don’t walk out as a transvestite, and they really don’t care. That’s the problem with Russia, there’s not some outright pogrom in the place, like there is in the Middle East, plus, I’m pretty sure the people wanting to Boycott the Olympics in Russia will eventually just cave and let the Olympics happen.
