IIRC at the time Obama was trying to get “Little Tommy Daschle” into whatever position (I can’t remember at this instant) he was trying to get him into early on in the first four of the Obama debacle it was stated as a reason for his choice it was due Daschle’s involvement in the healthcare bill, and his knowledge of the program as he was so heavily involved in its conception.
I believed from that statement, and Daschle’s prior involvement with the Clinton’s, and that Healthcare debacle that he was a lead in the creation of the mess.
When it appeared it seemed like something that had been sitting around for 30 years waiting to hatch, completely unrelated to the workings of the world today.
