LifeNews.com is pleased to present the first chapter of Abby Johnsons book Unplanned. Johnson is the former director of the Planned Parenthood abortion business in Bryan, Texas.
She had a change of heart after agreeing to a request to assist in an abortion procedure and has now converted to the pro-life position.

In light of all the bad stuff happening, 40 days for life is going on right now. Perhaps your prayerful presence could save a life.
Article from January, 2011 which is fine. This is one of the few books I bought brand new from the bookstore.
The chapter in case people don’t read it in total I believe has the part, the event that changed Abby where she usually worked in the office of Planned Parenthood but they needed some help with an abortion so she went in and one of the Doctor-types went into the womb with a vacuum tube, she saw it all as an “ultra-sound” abortion... and the Doc did the vacuuming seeing the fetus and says “Beam me up Scotty” like from Star Trek. So, I gave a way a lot in saying that but that is when she, on that very day I believe left Planned Parenthood.
Great book. She went into the biz because she wanted to “help women.” She got out of the biz when she realized it really WAS a biz, because her affiliate started pressuring about not reaching her facility’s abortion “quotas.” That’s right, PP has “quotas” for abortions performed, just like a car salesman has quotas for cars sold. Abortions are the big money-makers at PP. When Abby balked at the idea that she had to meet abortion quotas, she was formally reprimanded.
Yes. I picked up the old article from a Tweet. Basically wanted to inform on the 40 days for life. We are headed out in about an hour.
A wonderful work that will still be evoking joy when this world and all of the evil principalities and powers have turned to dust.
Love you, my darlin'! (Yes, I say that right in public!)
