Bill Bennett endorses Mitch McConnell's Senate re-election bid (Mitch a 'conservative stalwart'?)
Washington Times ^ | 9/26/13 | Seth McLaughlin

President Ronald Reagan’s secretary of education endorsed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s re-election bid on Wednesday, saying he is “proud to wholeheartedly” back the Kentucky Republican and calling on conservatives around the country to support the veteran lawmaker.

William J. Bennett, a Washington Fellow of the Claremont Institute and host of the nationally syndicated talk show “Morning in America,” said Mr. McConnell “is a conservative stalwart and we have fought alongside each other in many battles over the years.”

Crony dinosaurs. Or is it dinosaur cronies?

Whichever.

Retire already. Give someone else a chance.

I moved from Seattle to Kentucky two years ago. It’s kind of exciting getting to participate in the possible removal of a RINO. I’ll vote for a democrat before I’ll vote for this jacka$$. Dead serious. Hopefully he loses the primary and it does not come to that. The last time I voted for a Democrat was Dixie Lee Ray (it’s a long story).

Bill is in the illustrated encyclopedia as a tall figure with feet of iron and clay...all the way up to there.

Bill Bennett’s endorsement is nothing more than an obvious example of one big government Republican backing another. Before Bennett’s program was dropped from our local station, he would have on such “conservative stalwarts” as Lamar Alexander.

If I knew nothing about a candidate, my default position would be that if Bennett endorsed them they have to be pretty weak.

At one time long ago, I listened to this traitor on his so-called “Morning in America” radio show. I quickly realized that he is nothing but a go-along, get-along status quo traitor to conservatism.

He was more interested in coffee-klatching bullshit and talking about esoteric so-called conservative topics but NEVER, NEVER once stood up, and SHOUTED at the top of his lungs that Democrats represent evil incarnate. Just about the good times he had and the bullshit stuff he did while Education Secretary.

He is nothing but a conservative poser, a saboteur appeaser and a money-grubber hell bent on conserving himself.

Screw him, and screw McConnell too.

Do any of these guys ever go outdoors? McConnell is so white he is albino. And what is the deal with some of their lips? I call this the “Robert Byrd Syndrome” where they have this creepy thing where their lips seem to have sweat glands in them or they seem to be drooling too much. Harry Reid has it. He has some kind of odd viscous greasy film of oil or an especially wet unknown substance oozing out of his mouth area. He needs to keep a maxipad or something taped over that mouth to catch all the spittle that ejects from it. I can imagine what the poor maids at the Washington Ritz Carlton must go through every morning as they change the soaked pillow cases from all the effuse that came out of Reid’s mouth during the previous night. This is all why I think we should start calling Harry Reid “Spittles”. Not only because of the strange viscous liquid eject that naturally emanates from his oral region but because of all the bull$hit that ejects upon the public along with it.

The GOP needs to hear these words of wisdom. Our most effective strategy is to tell the GOPe we will not allow these fossils to stay. If they block our picks in the primary we vote democrat and destroy the party. Their choice.

Bill Bennett is a fraud. He published his book on morals, then refused to say he disagreed that Pat Buchanan was the next Adolfo Hitler.

A moral man? No...

As a conservative he’s a great used car salesman.

Poor Bill...I have noticed that his calm, reasonable & pragmatic approach to politics is cracking a bit when he is confronted with caller after caller who agree 100% with Ted Cruz. Bill can barely keep from hanging up on them, or descending into calling them uneducated dolts.

Ted Cruz has not caused a "split" within the R's but instead has identified a kind of "who is who"...those who are serious, small govt pariots and those who have no problem with big govt statists.

Bill asked one guest this morning if he agreed that Cruz "went too far" with some of his comments....I heard a lot of the speech, & frankly, I didn't hear one thing that I thought was over any line.

To what could Bill have been referring?....maybe somebody here could enlighten me.

I am beginning to believe that is the GOPs goal. Maybe the answer is to infiltrate the Democrat party like the communist did.
