I am still waiting for the damned outrage! I am biting my tongue every time I fill up. No one seems to give a crap that we are paying insane gas prices for 5 years. No one cares that unemployment is never going to go below 7 or 8 %. No one cares. No media hysteria over these issues. Amazing how brainwashed Americans are. If the media doesn’t tell them to care, they don’t care.

In Oil Patch City NM, price is $3.79/gal. Drove from Lubbock (2 hours away) last night and filled up at $3.09. Each town further from Lubbock had pump prices a few cents higher. Seminole TX, just east of the border with NM was $3.75.

Too bad it’s a relatively quiet hurricane season this year....

The Climate Change Channel is so desperate they are showing clips of previous years.

I drew the line at not being able to buy 100W light bulbs.

Personal Liberty is gone.

They didn’t get the memo in Fishers. IN and the surrounding area. We came home from work last Wednesday evening and most stations were around $3.29 a gallon. On the way to work the next morning the same stations were $3.59 a gallon.

$3.19 for regular here is SW Arkansas. Noticed the price has slowly been declining all summer.

I saw $2.99 at an Exxon Station in Alvin, Texas this weekend.

Wow. We were thrilled to see a "low" price of $3.66 here in northern Connecticut this weekend.

Fortunately a local supermarket chain here (Stop & Shop) has Gas Points Rewards... we accumulate points by buying groceries, then drive a few miles to Massachusetts (slightly lower gas taxes than CT's), and usually fill up both cars for about $2.89/gallon. That's the price when gas here is about $3.89+.

I know! I don't get it either. (We live in the People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut)

Imagine the outrage if a Republican was in the White House for 8 years...

I often make a fairly loud point of speaking up at the supermarket checkout about the outrageous food and gas prices "lately" (I don't even mention the past 5 years nor do I mention Obama).

People at the checkout look at me like I have 3 heads... like I'm some kind of nut job. (I do live in CT, though, as I said in my previous post)

I think you nailed it - if the media doesn't tell them to care, they don't care.

Now its crickets
