The Real Navy Yard Scandal
It is inhumane not to treat those suffering from mental illness.

In the liberal remake of Casablanca, the police captain comes upon the scene of the shooting and orders his men to “round up the usual weapons.”
It’s always the weapon and never the shooter. Twelve people are murdered in a rampage at the Washington Navy Yard, and before sundown Senator Dianne Feinstein has called for yet another debate on gun violence. Major opprobrium is heaped on the AR-15, the semiautomatic used in the Newtown massacre.
Turns out no AR-15 was used at the Navy Yard. And the shotgun that was used was obtained legally in Virginia after the buyer, Aaron Alexis, had passed both a state and federal background check.
As was the case in the Tucson shooting — instantly politicized into a gun-control and (fabricated) tea-party-climate-of-violence issue — the origin of this crime lies not in any politically expedient externality but in the nature of the shooter.

Renewed the campaign after setting up the pins using another Manchurian Candidate. For some odd reason it seems that gun crime rises in direct proportion to the amounf of efforts used by Obama to disarm his serfs. Now I wonder why that would be?

Poor Garry McCarthy.
He’s nicknamed “Streetlight Assassin” by some of us for his inglorious reputation as the guy who shot out street lights in Jersey outside a neighborhood bar with his State Cop brother while drunk one evening many years ago (while shouting racial epithets at nearby neighbors coming out of their homes to see what was going on).
That was before he was arrested trying to throw his weight around after his daughter called him because she didn’t want to take a citation like a good girl, but instead played the “do you know who I am?” card rather poorly.

Why Police Militarization Makes Us Less Safe

I’ve written a large numbers of posts attacking the up-armoring and military mindsetting of U.S. police. My main point: SWAT comes in, civil liberties go out. America moves closer to a police state. Meanwhile, innocent lives are lost. But there’s another angle to this. The innocent lives lost aren’t just the ones taken by jumpy no-knock cops wielding battering rams, flash bangs and fully automatic rifles. There’s also a price to pay in terms of the over-proliferation of SWAT teams, generally. That’s the real story behind the shooting at the D.C. Navy Yard . . .
Yeah, you can start by telling police to stop spraying bullets at innocent bystanders. The police down here are taught how to shoot a gun. If you would stop hiring Acorn people, maybe you would cut down on gun violence.
Obama is just another screaming democrat jumping on the bandwagon against guns because it is politically expedient!
Dear Obomba: that was a Military Base. Military should be armed at all times to guard against threats to the Constitution, internal and external.

ALL on-line gun sales have to go through dealers with ALL the paperwork, including the NICS background check.
Also, MOST sales at gunshows are subject to the same restrictions, The only exceptions are private gun owners are free to sell their PRIVATE PROPERTY, in accordance with the individual State's laws.
