All of the above are insane, some more than others, but this one (Battle of Mogadishu) struck me because I've read quite a bit about this battle. While this was a military misadventure (due to BILL CLINTON and a Democrat administration who knew nothing about the military - sound familiar?), we were not defeated.

I agree with a lot of what you wrote, but 1 small quibble - I place as much blame on POTUS #41 GHWB for initiating this intervention in the last month of his presidency. Yes he is. He retired a few years ago from managing the farm accounts at a major Midwest bank. This is an area where average ground goes for $6000+ an acre.
