Yeah, well the Brits (Chamberlain) told us 75 years ago the Hitler was a pretty nice guy, too.

So they collect organisms living in earth's atmosphere and pronounce that they are not from earth. Exactly! Who's to say it wasn't blasted into the upper atmosphere from some volcanic eruption. I've read they've discovered all kinds of critters living deep underground and seen in underwater "smokers" (submarine hot water vents).

...but it is generally accepted that a particle of the size found cannot be lifted from Earth to heights of, for example, 27km... Well, your balloon got up there.
To: Secret Agent Man
That was one way I was thinking it may have gotten into the upper atmosphere as well. At the very very least, it needs additional study.

Don’t forget the Earth is flat and rinsing your teeth with urine brightens them.

They should be allowed a path to citizenship. They are just undocumented (and uncatalogued life).

I found $20.00 in the ashtray of my truck. I'm confident that I didn't put it there. I am sure ET put it there. There were Reese's Pieces in the floor.

but it is generally accepted that a particle of the size found cannot be lifted from Earth to heights of, for example, 27km. The only known exception is by a violent volcanic eruption, none of which occurred within three years of the sampling trip, professor Milton Wainwright said in a statement. The picture in the link show the particle size as 15 microns (0.0006" or one hundredth of a sixteenth of inch) or so max. A particle that small is easily carried in the wind even at very low velocity. In short the statement is nonsense.

The Andromeda Strain started out benign too...Negative. It started out virulent and became benign when it mutated. Quick! Shut off the nuclear auto destruct!

Ahhhhh, settled science, eh?Oh c'mon. What's more likely, that the biological paricles found in earth's stratosphere originated from, you know, earth, of that they sailed light years across the cold void of outer space and ended up in earth's stratosphere? Obviously, they sailed light years across the cold void of outer space and ended up in earth's stratosphere - - it's "generally accepted". Like "global cooling I mean warming", whatever.

I wondered what the Global Warming scientist were up to now that the Global Warming scam is falling apart .....
