The problem is very, very clear. Same scenario as when the government spent years and millions of dollars trying to convince us that the entire population faced the same level of risk from AIDS as the queers.
After 30 or 40 years of government arrogance and nuclear-grade stupidity is there any wonder that no one believes a thing a government agent or official says?
Political Correctness kills in many different ways.
And the federal government has managed to find and use most of them.
