With my approach there isn’t any ‘cave-in’. It’s a honey trap for the Democrats and Obama.
We’re not in a position to win. We can win, but not now. We need a long vision here. We need to win and run things, get it?
Have a nice life.
Have a nice life.
(1) debt ceiling increase conditional upon amendment of ACHA;
(2) CR does not fund AHCA expenditures; or
(3) suspend implementation of AHCA.
Which of these three should we be supporting?
Which is Ted Cruz's favored approach?
What precisely do you mean by "suspend"? How do you force that legislation through? ... contingent upon debt ceiling increase? ... contingent upon CR passage? Is suspension really a distinction without a difference?
We never win if we don’t start.
In this case, start a fight. And just for once, don’t put it off ‘til next time, don’t stall, don’t run, don’t change our mind, and don’t change the plan.
Squishy is out.
You have no idea what all can be gained by making democrats shoot their foot off, naming our poison, with their obamacare senate vote, and by finally calling out Mince McConnell, making him push defunding. One and done.
If it doesn’t work, talk to us then.
