AFP - President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday thanked key backer Russia for helping Syria face down what he described as a "savage attack" by Western-backed Islamic extremists, according to state television.

Christians and Christianity will definitely have no future in Syria if the mobros and Bork Obunga win.

Yeah, their fate with Assad and the Ayatollahs is sure not going to be a good one either, unless you think Assad’s buddies the mad mullahs are pro Christian. And remember Assad was pro al Qaeda before he became a sudden convert to protecting Chrisitans, just as Putin was a commie before he became some Freepers favorite dictator.

Since the CCCP fell apart, there probably hasn't been an election in Russia AS flawed as our last election.

Vladimir Putin is the best ruler Russia has ever had since Tsar Peter. Bork Obunga is the worst ruler any advanced state has ever had since Nero.

The return of Russia to its Christian roots is real. Nobody goes to the gigantic expense of rebuilding that huge cathedral in Moscow or of constructing 200 new Christian churches in and around Moscow, for any sort of a show:

The fact that there ARE Christians in Syria indicates that Assad has been more tolerant of them than the mobros who Obunga supports ever would. If having Russia on his side affirms/strengthens that tendency in Assad, that works for me.

Everything I've read so far which seems believable indicates that the mobro rebels are the perpetrators of the recent sarin gas attack, and not Asad. That may exlain the village-level militias siding with Assad.

There is ZERO possibility of Bork Obunga and George Soros being on the right side of something like this.

Unless you don't believe in a free press, free speech, freedom of association, free and fair elections, not poisoning and imprisoning political opponents.
