Barry's probably never been in a bank, he just uses our money - from different sources...

Three more years under this regime and their positions will probably be eliminated. Dear leader is just being prophetic.

Bank robbery notes have changed as well:

Give me all of your money or I’ll disconnect your diodes...

Dang!!
One of my wife's best friends is a bank teller.
One of 5 at the small town bank we use.

Don't think OBummer is in tune with the common folk out in fly over country (The *sticks*, as they call it sometimes).

Do you ever wonder if the POTUS’ speech writer write this stuff to emphasize the fact that he is disconnected ... an ‘inside’ job!?

Good point.

If there are no banks, there will be no need for bank tellers.

When I lived in Seattle, between 1985 and 2011 I only saw the inside of a bank branch when I had something special going on like getting a loan. I think I needed a couple of cashiers checks over the decades too, but that was about it.

Now I’m in a small town. I like to use the tellers instead of the atm, when they’re open, that is. It’s all part of the “I’ve gone back in time 50 years” experience.

He said the same thing back in 2011:

“One of the challenges in terms of rebuilding our economy is businesses have gotten so efficient that—when was the last time somebody went to a bank teller instead of using the ATM, or used a travel agent instead of just going online? A lot of jobs that used to be out there requiring people now have become automated.”

translations:

- Continuing stubborn unemployment is NOT MY FAULT! There are forces at work in the world which are beyond the power of ANY man!!!

-The only way to overcome these trends is with a BIG GOVERNMENT JOBS PROGRAM to pick up the slack.

And this is what the Travel Agent trade association said back in 2011:

“In its letter, ASTA informed the President that today, the U.S. travel agency industry “is comprised of nearly 10,000 U.S.-based travel agency firms operating in 15,000 locations. We have an annual payroll of $6.3 billion. Most importantly, our businesses produce full-time employment for more than 120,000 U.S. taxpayers.”

Of course, Obama never sees a travel agent, he has people to do that, and gets a free plane for his entire family.

Meanwhile, a single online employment site shows around 4800 listings for “Bank Tellers Wanted”.

In 2010, there were over 500,000 bank tellers. One web site humorously noted that the change in the number of tellers and ATMs were positively correlated, and that under Obama, there were both fewer tellers, AND fewer ATM machines. Obama managed to increase the unemployment rate for Automated Teller Machines.

Yeah, robotized! LOL

The first ATM I used was called "Tillie the Teller" and actually had a cartoon smiling face on it representing a female bank teller. This was mid-70s Atlanta.

Under the Obama administration, there are now fewer ATM machines, because Obama managed to actually ruin the job market for robotized tellers.

“Robotized”? I guess he couldn’t think of the word “automated”.

When he said “My muslim faith” George had a “word” he could give him to correst his slip of the tongue. “You mean your Christian faith.” George couldn’t come up with anything to correct him about bank tellers. The question I have is why did they air it? Probably because they know most of the people in this country will start blaming “robots” for not being able to find a job.

If he gets his way on minimum wage the fast food joints are going to have a lot of “robotized” workers. Hell, he was elected by “robotized” voters.

Good ole Tillie.

I remember her first TV ads.

POV of “Tillie” looking at man punching buttons saying, “Put half in checking, twenty percent in savings, give me sixty in cash and keep twenty for yourself....buy a new dress”.
