They burst into the musical world under the name Forte, capturing the attention of reviewers not only because of their magnificent voices but because of who they are: a Puerto Rican, a South Korean and a New Yorker.
Theyre heading for the finals of the Americas Got Talent competition on Tuesday after leaving the television shows judges with mouths agape in their debut, singing Pie Jesu.
The trio of Josh Page, Hana Ryu and Fernando Verela explained to the skeptical judges that they had met online, practiced for a few days and were performing together before an audience for the first time.
It took only few notes for the crowd to roar and the judges to stand in amazement.

Never understood why anyone thinks that Howard Stern or Howie Mandel (or any other of that show’s judges) can judge anyone’s talent. I leave the house when the Mrs watches that crap.
Singing Pie Jesu on America’s got Talent? Can this be legal? Where’s the FCC??
I don’t watch the show, either, but anyone who doesn’t watch this video is missing a wonderful experience. I’m glad it was posted here.
Goosebumps!
Not bad but I’ve heard better in the music hall at our local Juco. I love the Andrew Lloyd Webber Pia Jesu and have listened to it many many times. Good voices, not terribly balanced, timing a little rough but pretty good for how long they had been working together.
I used to like AGT. A lot of the earlier winners were part talent and part who voters thought deserved to win. Now, they just drag it out and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere all summer. I stopped watching when they brought Howard Stern in. He’s just so pompous. And what are the credentials of the emcee anyway?
Oh, please. You criticize a group of kids because they’re not as good as Andrew Lloyd Webber?
Wow, amazing, must see the judges stunned reactions.
Bttt!
Overall the talent on the show is average, with a few stunningly bright stars - who somehow never win. Just goes to show how shallow amerikans are these days. teen girls vote for the cutest boy, men vote for the shortest skirt and women, well i guess they go for the lesbo comic these days.
Beautiful! Thanks for posting!
It’s been removed from youtube.
Goosebumps here.
Two nights ago I was thinking of musical names for kids (the ones we never had): Harmony, Melody and Lyric, but the only musical name I could come up for a boy was Forte.
Just so EVERYONE knows....Cami Bradley, the ONLY woman in the final six, is the music director at her church in Spokane, WA. I know her mom and dad. I remember her running around the pews when she was 8 or 9. She is a fine Christian, a good wife, and she rides motorcycles. Her vocal talent is amazing.
It is nice that Forte sang ‘Pie Jesu’. However, my vote goes to Cami.
The Korean guy in the middle has since been replaced with a young man who is far better, a professional, and these guys are truly astonishing now, considering how little time they have to work on a song. It appears that they are Christians—one of the young men came to prominence when Josh Groban agreed to pick him out of the audience and sing with him, and the other sings at his church.
The fascinating thing is the astonishment and delight of both judges and crowd. They were listening to a song written in Latin by a Christian about the fact that Our Lord is, as the ancient words say, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world, and they were thrilled. This shows that beauty -can- appeal to the masses; popular culture doesnt always have to sink to the level of hip hop.
The members of Forte are trying to reach out to people and show them that classical music can elevate and thrill all of us. So even if they’re not flawless when held to the very highest standard (yet), they’re doing something good, something valuable.
The fellow who replaced the South Korean is a music minister at a Baptist church in Sabine, Michigan. He is also a professional opera singer.
This was outstnding!
Phenominal!
Tears and chills!
