Why build stadiums in depressed areas?
1. Less likely that eminent domain claims will be challenged.
2. Lower overall property cost.
3. And...the libtards’ favorite: The new stadium will raise the overall economic level of the entire area, spur new growth and development, and elevate the poor out of their misery.
And the people who make the decisions don’t want the stadiums anywhere near where they live. Kind of like liberals and windmills.
