Open Rant To Republicans (vanity)
Texas Eagle's brain (hopefully with a little guidance from The Holy Spirit) | 9/15/13 | Texas Eagle

Dear Republican "Leaders",

Instead of taking the bait Russian President Vladimir Putin so expertly placed on the hook and denouncing him for his critical views of American Exceptionalism, perhaps you should direct some of your ire towards those in THIS country who have derided the concept themselves for decades: DemocRATS, College professors, Hollywood "actors", members of The Weather Underground (oh, wait, I already mentioned College professors) as well as SOME Presidents we know.

Presidents who circled the globe pronouncing American Exceptionalism is akin to Greek Exceptionalism, Spanish Exceptionalism, Trinidad and Tobagoan Exceptionalism, etc.

While you're at it, maybe you could lob a few nods towards Ronald Reagan's doctrines of "Peace Through Strength" and "Trust, But Verify", since these are also tenets of Reagan's that were denounced and continue to be denounced until they come in handy to pull some careless President's bony ass out of the fire he inadvertently (so we're told) started.

Come on, Republicans. Come out from under your blankets. It's okay to stand up for America again.

At least, for now.

“Come on, Republicans. Come out from under your blankets. It’s okay to stand up for America again.”

You know they can’t — Obama has files on all of them...

Exactly. Stop arguing that America is exceptional and start being exceptional (I know, that is impossible for most of these dolts).

It’s not that he has files on them, the republican leadership are all socialists and have the same goals as Obama and his socialist friends.

Tex, you forgot one little thing in your Rant. The Republicans fear Obama and the progressives much more than they fear Putin.
It is very easy to criticize something or someone you will in all likely hood never come in contact with, but the idea of criticizing someone you might see at the next party you attend scares the living crap out of them

Sadly, true.

But Republicans have been Casper Milquetoasts for years.

I don't think you can cause an explosion in a vacuum.

I could be wrong. I'll do some research.

Some day.

There appear to be plans to do that contingent on a supply of cheap labor from Mexico I suspect.

Exactly. American exceptionalism is floundering under a smothering fungal mat of taxes, regulations, federal agencies, and political correctness. Putin didn't do that to us, progressives did that to us.

`American Exemptionalism.’ That’s great.
Congress should have a new motto:
“We’re All In This Together! All Five Hundred and Thirty-Five Of Us.”

Our motto should be "Bastille day is coming to Washington"
