You know what God would do? Maybe you should pray a little more for some humility.
I say it boldly because the Bible promises it!!
Prayers made according to His will (which in fact is to help us... we are piteously helpless, so filled with pride we are) are always always always always always answered YES.
Can’t know any better than that.
How about getting some humility on your part, that you can’t tell God no when God makes a promise!
With of course a giant caveat... help us TO GLORIFY HIM.
Not to help us keep on keepin’ on with the devil.
