“looking like America” is another typically stupid and meaningless liberal phrase. What they really mean is they want to place inferior minorities in places they’re not qualified to be. No liberal will ever say there’s not enough white people in whatever area they, libs, are creating a stir. For instance, they’ll never say there’s not enough white running backs in the NFL or white players period in the NBA. It’s all a con to get more unqualified minority Dems in positions where they can affect policy.
Will the Black Colleges do the same?
Now, most importantly, nobody’s feelings will get hurt. How racist is it when they have to count by race and ethnicity and consider an applicant based on that.
Nobody at Columbia claims to have ever seen him there.
You’re exactly right. The Washington Times had an article on the Washington DC Metro system. The article noted that even though Washington DC is 50% black the Washington DC Metro transit employees are 97% black. The article also quoted a white man with Master’s degrees passed up for an engineering position in favor of a black guy with only a high school degree.
When the investigative journalists raised these issues with the black head of the Metro system, he dismissed them and said that Metro strives for diversity. To him 97% black meant diverse as long as there were few white employees and no whites in leadership positions. That last part is what “diversity” is mostly about.
