Top Dem: Colorado losses due to ´voter suppression, pure and simple´
The Hill ^ | 9/11/13 | Jonathan Easley

Successful recall elections Tuesday of two Democratic state senators in Colorado were because of “voter suppression, pure and simple,” Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said Wednesday. Wasserman Schultz blamed lawsuits filed by opponents of gun control to prevent voters from mailing in ballots, the late announcement of polling locations, and “efforts by the NRA, the Koch brothers and other right wing groups who know that when more people vote, Democrats win.” “The recall elections in Colorado were defined by the vast array of obstacles that special interests threw in the way of voters for the purpose of reversing

Just a taste of what RINOS who vote with Boner, Cantor, Ryan for AMNESTY will feel.

When Democrats win by one vote they immediately shut down all recounts and debate, lock the doors
and place guards around the buildings. Then declare a mandate for a socialist style Government.

But if their perceived opposition wins by a majority, they cry foul.

Voter suppression? Like the IRS is doing under the direction of the Obama regime?
One Democrat vote not cast is a crime, illegals zeroing out any American vote isn't.
They all must lose in 2014!

So there I was ... locking my door to go vote and as soon as I turned around, there stood a guy in a suit and sunglasses ... stern of face ...

S'cuse me ... can I help you?, I asked

Where'ya going?, he replied

To vote

No, you're not.

Well ... I figured this is probably some joke being played on me by one of my right wing friends, so I just smiled and moved to go around him, but he sidestepped to block my way.

S'cuse me .. you're in my way

Where'ya' goin', he asked again

I already told yoou ... to VOTE!

No, you're not, he again retorted.

By this time I was pissed because if this was a joke, it was no longer funny

When I tried to muscle past him, at that moment, the doors of the black SUV I hadn't noticed until just then, burst open and two more MIBs came out with trouble on the parts of their faces I could see below dark sunglasses and I KNEW ...

I wasn't votin' for Weiner today.

I went back inside and cried.

He’ll have to do a lot better than that if he wants to explain the loss in light of those dems having outspent the challenger six to one, according to the report from the head of the Tea Party of Colorado

So, I assume she has some sort of evidence for this, besides the fact that her side lost?

Or is this just really, really poor sportsmanship?

She is calling the results invalid and blaming Koch brothers and the NRA for voter suppression. This is despicable slander and she should be sued.

“We know they cheated, they must have because we stacked the deck so lopsided against them it was impossible for them to win” - what she really meant

It had nothing to do with voter suppression. It was all because of global warming...

The Republican Party opposed the recalls, says a lot. I wonder if they will support the effort to invalidate the election?

So then she is FOR voter ID. Right?

Yeah, right.

To a demonicrat, combating voter suppression means preventing service members from voting.

Actually in Pueblo there were over 30,000 votes, or 1/4 of the population. Pretty good for an election with "voter suppression".

Has anyone compared this voter number with the general election number? I'm really curious to know.

When Democrats lose an election, ‘the election was STOLEN’.
When democrats win an election, ‘the peoples have spoken’.

I am happy that Debbie Blabbermouth-Shultz was so quick to reaffirm this.

” . . . that when more people vote, Democrats win.”

She may have a point there - I’ve noticed that in elections in which the total of votes cast is greater than 100% of the number of registered voters, Democrats always win.

She is right thought not in the way she thought. In the first sentence she says “voter suppression, pure and simple”. It was the demoRats that suppressed the will of the people with their vote for gun control and they suppressed the will of the people and got recalled.

“It was voter suppression, pure and simple”, stated Wasserwomyn-Schultz, “And I hate the stupid meanie faces in the NRA that are responsible!”
