So what’s the deal now? Is he allowed to run in the election to fill his seat? If he only lost the recall by 4%, he might beat any given opponent.

No one is posting about the replacements, are they reliably conservative?
If you believe the Planned Parenthood wench's commercial, both of them are Satan incarnate. Which is probably a compliment considering the source. Doomburg's folks were screaming bloody murder on the TV and radio ads so -> these guys should be OK. IMHO, that is.

A two-fer tonight. Great!!
PUEBLO State Sen. Angela Giron has been recalled and retired Pueblo deputy police chief George Rivera voted in as her replacement.

Ive followed elections for a long, long time. Other than Gore, I cant name one election where a candidate conceded, then withdrew the concession. Can you?Doug Hoffman

Yes, it is rare. My point had nothing to do with the frequency of such events. My point was in response to the implication that a concession settles things leaving no opportunity to challenge and no opportunity for a recount.
That statement is demonstrably false.

Impressive that even the leftists over at AP admit she was recalled over her position on gun rights. She was claiming it was because she was latina (course none of the other in the legislature got recalled, just her).

Yeah, but the left wailed and gnashed their teeth about Bush like he was some kind of arch-conservative wunderkind and he was about 1% more conservative than Fat Teddy. Liberals reaction to people doesn’t always mean anything.

She was claiming it was because she was latina That's a joke. Pueblo has a very large Hispanic population. I would guess that the majority of votes against her were cast by Hispanics.

Yes, that is true, a concession speech isn’t legally binding.

Ballot Issue State Senate 3 - Recall Giron 100% reporting
Yes 56.0% (19,355)
No 43.9% (15,201)
Congratulations CO! You didn't just beat Morse and Giron. You beat Obama, Bloomberg, Eli Btoad and a bunch of gun grabbers around the country whose money was wasted! The ground game is worth a lot more than donated funds.

he’s already publicly conceded. i don’t think he’s in any real position to ask for a recount after he agrees he’s lost.

Well that so called Conservative District elected him in the first place, so it can’t be all that Conservative.
