Colo. senate president loses recall over gun laws

DENVER (AP) — Democratic Senate President John Morse has been recalled by Colorado Springs voters in a special election driven by his support for new gun restrictions.
A majority of voters said “yes” to the question of whether Morse should be recalled from office Tuesday night. They chose former Republican City Councilman Bernie Herpin as his successor.
Morse was an appealing target for a recall because he narrowly won re-election in 2010. He supported several Democratic-sponsored gun bills this year, including new limits on the size of ammunition magazines and expanding background checks to online and private firearm sales.
Democratic Sen. Angela Giron of Pueblo also faced a recall over the gun laws, which were a response to mass shootings in Colorado and Connecticut last year.
Except in this case the fraud was so thick, he has to know that is how most of his votes were obtained, hence the concession.
I’ve been looking all over the web for news of the Colorado recall results, and apparently the Old Media is doing a blackout. Thanks, Colorado Doug. I can always count on the Freepers to dig up the real news.
When American’s get to vote up or down on conservative causes they clearly choose conservative. In general elections the Rat, Rino’s and Libs hide their true intentions and mislead the voters. We need more politicians willing to walk the conservative walk and pick up all those blue collar conservatives.
