With only a few hours remaining before polls close on the recall elections, 15,285 voters have cast their ballots in the Senate District 11 recall election.
Turnout picked up through the lunch hour this afternoon after a slow morning, but Ryan Parsell, spokesman for the county's Clerk and Recorder's Office, said there were no lines at any of the voting centers.
Polls close at 7 p.m.
Sen. John Morse, D-Colorado Springs, is facing a recall election for his support of gun legislation during the 2013 legislative session. If he is ousted from office, Republican candidate Bernie Herpin will replace him in the Colorado General Assembly.
As of about 2:30 p.m. 5,980 Republicans had turned out to vote compared with 5,098 Democrats, Parsell said.

If he wins, you know there was fraud.
maybe in Colorado it would be too obvious to bus Somalis in.
If demoRats are involved there is fraud. If he wins he won by fraud.
And many of those Democrats may be pro-gun as well.
Democrats are dope-smoking lay-abouts who only go to the polls if their demi-god is on the ballot or someone offers them free “sammiches” or something.
The only way Morse can win is through massive fraud.
We will know in a couple of hours.
