How many times does Issa have to be dissed? Who’s holding Issa off?
It’s Issa who is obfuscating, delaying the obvious. Subpoenas, already!
Does he know something we don’t, perhaps will render subpoenas toothless?
Otherwise, is he dragging this out to exert some
pressure for an election? I simply don’t get it.
Is Rove meddling in this somewhere?
“Is Rove meddling in this somewhere?”
Maybe BONER. Boner needs to be defeated in the primary or general.
Issa may be the best bet we’ve got. I’m not sure what he’s up to. He seems to move things along at a snail’s pace. I havn’t given up on him, but it is very frustrating how long it’s taking.
It is my understanding with the Special Prosecutor position ended years ago, and the Democrats still in control of the Senate, NOT about to vote in another such Special Prosecutor to investigate, and prosecute Democrats the Issa Congressional Committee has only the ability to collect information, and expose the criminal activities. IOW Issa’s hands are tied.
The Attorney General is supposed to initiate any action against those criminals exposed by either the A.G., or by Congressman Issa, and his committee.
Holder isn’t about to initiate any criminal action against those Issa has exposed knowing that would expose Obama, Clinton, and the Democrat Party, and more. It isn’t going to happen, but Issa can at least continue to expose these criminals of the Obama Administration.
Perhaps some of our FR legal membership could comment to you with more on this, or correct my assumption if I am in error.
Himself..Issa comes and goes; he likes the limelight for short stretches for the soundbites then its back to whatever the hell he does in DC and getting along.
Issa sent this letter to Kerry today:
If no response is forthcoming, it is the responsibility of the DOJ to enforce a response.
Failing which, the Committee can go to court...again.
We are dealing with a lawless administration -- and a Senate that isn't going to vote to convict in an impeachment.
There's not a helluva lot the committee can do -- if the media isn't inclined to make an issue of it.
