LAKE MARY, Fla. —
Channel 9 has learned police were called Monday to a domestic disturbance involving George Zimmerman and a gun at a home in Lake Mary.
Police were called to the scene on Sprucewood Road about 2:30 p.m. though no other details have been released.
Last week, Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman, filed for divorce, weeks after her husband's acquittal in the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

It just occurred to me. Maybe the Zim has what is known as Survivor Guilt, meaning he subconsciously believes that he deserves more punishment for his ‘action’ (I won’t call it a crime, because it was self defense). If Mr. Zim has decided to accept and continue to carry this self imposed ‘guilt’, expect to see more and more bizarre unforced errors done to keep himself locked up or worse.
Who knows what being secluded, made speechless and threatened with violent death for over a year will do to a person? I don’t, hope I never find out. Many, perhaps most marriages would not survive that sort of unrelenting pressure. However, don’t be surprised if after a couple of years, his ex-wife goes back to him. They have a bond unique to this situation. There are not many others who really know what it like, hour by hour. She’ll be back, I’m willing to bet, within 3 years.
there is another conservative gun forum that is the same thing. Half the posts are people ripping on George because the “news” is telling them the “facts”.
I equate it to battered spouses. Some people keep coming back to their abusers no matter how many beatings they take.
I don’t feel the need to defend my position, there is nothing wrong with it. He said I was too conservative for this forum. If I am, so be it.

No way on earth to tell if Zimmerman acted unwisely, or if his wife is lying in order to get a better divorce settlement.
