“a strong international response”
“Wilbur’n me’ll settle fer a strongly worded letter, if it gets our tits outa this wringer.”
Mr. Ed
You would think that if this Bahar al Assad is as evil as they say he is, he should be arrested when he comes to New York for the United Nations meeting in October. However, I can see a problem with the precedent that this would set in which any tin horn bureaucrat could could possibly have our President or another leader arrested if they even have to change planes on their soil
For the love of all that is Holy, PLEASE PUNT!
UN accuses Syrian rebels of carrying out sarin gas attacks which had been blamed on Assads troops
Didn’t Kerry just last week say the UN was useless, or words to that effect.
I thought I read that somewhere.
Best quote I heard all week on this:
“If we are dangerously uncertain of the outcome and are led into war by a Commander-in-chief who cant recognize that this conflict is pitting Islamic extremists against an authoritarian regime with both sides shouting ‘Allah Akbar’ at each other, then let Allah sort it out” - Sarah Palin
If this mac daddy administration was a TV soap opera it would be canceled after the first show as being so bad that nobody believes that it is for real.
I do believe this is the 7th version of what they are going to do, at least as of 9/8/2013.
Translation: The Saudis need time to bribe all the UN inspectors, you'll have to be patient.
These idiots need to forget it. They look like total fools.
Kerry is a past master of the political switchback. You know, “I was for it before I was against it.” It’s situational statesmanship, like situational ethics and situational realities.
