What do you think about AZ-1? State House Speaker Andy Tobin and State Rep. Adam Kwasman are both running.
Having analyzed the two first-tier AZ-01 candidates yet, but I think that if they can keep reasonably close to Kilpatrick in fundraising they should beat her this year—the AZ-01 is like 5%-6% more Republican than the AZ-09 and a couple of points more Republican than the AZ-02.
Former Congresswoman Heather Wilson, who won a half-dozen close races in a marginal district in next-door NM, also was a USAF officer. I take that as a good sign that Rogers and McSally will follow in her footsteps and get elected in marginal districts. So I hope that NM Republicans AIM HIGH! this primary season. : )
