DC laws are as onerous as Mexico's and its officials as corrupt.

I just saw this:
The city council in Washington, DC is considering a bill, cosponsored by a majority of the council, that would decriminalize the possession of marijuana up to an ounce, making it a “civil offense” resulting in a fine, according to the local NBC affiliate. The primary sponsor of the bill, Tommy Wells, says the bill is a matter of “social justice,” and that he’s not concerned with the legal status of marijuana insomuch as he’s concerned about the 6,000 people, predominantly African-American, that are arrested for “using small amounts of marijuana.”

Someone who gets arrested just needs to file another lawsuit against DC, and let them get smacked down by the Supreme Court, AGAIN. These laws are unconstitutional, how many times do they need to have that explained to them?

Speaking of DC, I wonder whatever became of that guy who loaded a shotgun in DC and showed the video on YouTube?

I heard that a week or so later, a SWAT team stormed his house in Virginia (outside of DC jurisdiction) and took him away, and denied bail because he was deemed “too dangerous”.

I haven’t heard a thing since. Guess he got disappeared?

Everyone mail your representatives and senators with a single .22 casing.
Then call the DC cops.
This should be fun.

I wonder by what authority they do this? Empty shotshells or cartridge casing are NOT ammunition. And to the extent they were, they would be protected by the 2nd Amendment.

Wondering what the end result of getting caught with a brass solid, machined to look like round would be.

What about a picture of a spent casing or shell?

Is this really an issue in DC, tourists picking up all the spent casings lying around?
