"Affirmative action" polling?
BTW, since Scott Rasmussen is no longer associated with Rasmussen Reports, I'm taking their results with several pounds of salt. Overall, Zero is doing a bit worse than Bush #43 was at this point in his second term.
Same old story... Americans either don’t pay attention, are too dependent on government largesse to vote against their breadwinner, and some simply think he’s God.
Blame it on our low information society. It’s not like it will effect when the new iphone comes out, or which hollwood star is doing whatever.
maybe if the media went after Barky around the clock like they did Bush, then his number would drop to more reasonable levels... like the single digits.
Low information voters, and a kneepad media.
Since Scott’s departure, Obama’s approval at Rass Reports seems to be stuck between 47% - 50%. It has become a pretty obvious outlier.
You pretty much hit it on the head. A portion think Obama is a God, a portion only see skin color, a good portion are dependent on government, and a good number are simply not paying attention or only pay attention long enough to read the headlines praising Obama’s great recovery.
Special sauce... same math used to figure unemployment numbers.
LLS
Though if he goes into Syria and things start going really badly he may finally break thru that 40% floor.
Did 95% of blacks and all the leftist in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) supported Mugabe as he wrecked a once great nation?
How many of those white leftist are left in Zimbabwe? How many were killed, tortured and/or run out with the rest of the non Mugabe tribe members?
His poll numbers could go as low as 0, but if no one in Congress is doing something about it we will remain in deep sh*t.
So what do poll numbers really mean?
Lower numbers might help to steel the spines of our jelly fish congress critters and judges. Maybe, it might get some of the Dems to jump ship because of fear.... i.e. turn their spines to jelly.
Polls are a tool, to keep brak’s numbers north of the truth, and they are not equal.
Isn't it ironic that the so-called mainstream media used to call RWR the 'Teflon President' as they dumped approbation all over him, while this guy gets a pass every time.
Exactly.
Obama has been very adept at getting convincing the public that he’s still a populist outsider, striving to get in there and “clean that mess up in Washington.” And they buy in ... again and again.
I'm not quite in agreement with that. The election returns showed Obama outperformed most polls. They didn't accurately measure the current party balance, which at last count was D+6.
We're not a centrist country anymore... it has drifted decidedly leftward in the past few years.
"Surged" might be more accurate than "drifted." Just look what happened to the Defense of Marriage Act. Remember that it was BILL CLINTON who was defending that institution just a few short years ago. And now our President is in Russia promoting same-sex coupling, to the cheers of his adoring public.
