Those tasked with executing the strike on Bashar al Assad's regime in Syria were reportedly shocked when U.S. President Barack Obama announced Saturday that he wanted to seek Congressional approval first, according to Chris Lawrence with CNN.
"The tempo went from 'go-go-go' to nothing," an unnamed defense official told CNN. "We were standing multiple watches. Everyone was pretty sure it was going to happen."
With U.S. destroyers and submarines moored off the coast of Syria, battle stations manned, and fingers on the trigger of hundreds of Tomahawk cruise missiles, Obama reportedly changed his mind Friday evening on executing the strike on his own authority, after a conversation with his chief of staff, Denis McDonough.

We want to know as much as possible because we want to know the unknown we want to know how he might react in the future. But for the most part there is nothing there to know. This revelation that at the center of Obama there is nothing but mere emptiness, abject vacuousness is very troubling, unnerving, destabilizing. And while everything we think we know about him is all contained in these neat little packages, they simply do not add up any where to 100%.
What we want is a unified Obama Theory that answers all our questions now and for the future but it is not, nor ever going to be forthcoming.
The indecisiveness, the confusion, the lack of clearly defined agenda, the immorality, the sinister and mendacious approach taken throughout his administration m are all part of what is missing at his very center.
So, how can we, as the electorate, expect, hope for answers if there's no where to go to get them. It's as if Obama is admonishing us to stop looking at the man behind the curtain.

Well said. For the little we really know of him, we still don’t know the truth. He may well be as empty and vacuous as he appears, other than his racial hatred, but someone pulling his strings is not. They have a definite agenda, but it could be any number of evil things, or all of them. The left’s various evil factions work hand-in-glove, so far, including with America’s enemies.
You have a political animal.. and that is all he knows. A little bird told him, in no uncertain terms that he cannot just order up a war, without Congress approval.
And no approval without a “threat” to the US (which has been translated to “US interests”— broad definition).
This is wagging the dog, fait accompli, make it up as you go along... lame-ass policy by a truly dim and lazy man, and his toady advisors. Fellow islamics primarily and liberal enablers.

Should also add that the sheer weight of scandals and domestic issues (delay of obamaumaocare, the IRS continuing scandal, Benghazi) mounting up and this guy’s response is— “hey let’s start another war”.

Don’t think a strike against Syria is justified from the case that has been made so far.
However, if you are going to strike, it’s better to do so right away before the target has a chance to get ready.
By the time this clown makes up his mind, Assad will be dug in with a new Russian air defense system that will be tuned up and ready to rock and roll.
Really sucks to be an American pilot or soldier having to go up against a much better prepared opponent.
Watching Zero explain that it wasn’t his red line was shocking. When he said it he was quite specific about making it his personal decision. Arrogant SOB now is a fool for the whole world to see. He isn’t an embarrassment to the US..but himself. I hope the House hangs him out to dry.
I think Obama is afraid of being declared a war criminal by the UN. His on secret service might arrest him and turn him over.
