He is like the far lefty that is pissed at Obama because Obamacare doesn’t go far enough.

You see his role would be minimal and leave the “Great War General” John McCain, sitting on the sidelines. That is not acceptable.

He was for it before he was against it?

Maybe he wants to create more American POWs. After all, it was such a positive experience for him, you know.

So, McCain and Graham are leading a “crusade” in Syria? Good, let them be the first to go in and die. If they don't believe risking their lives is worth it, why is it OK to order others to put their lives at risk? What hypocrites.

He isn’t a war hawk, he is a grim reaper. I think it is good he didn’t win the presidency.

To think my vote for Sarah, with him on the ticket, will be preserved forever. Ugh.

“He needs to retire twenty years ago.”

No, not nearly enough! He needs to be punished for what he has wrought on this country. This POS tossed out his first wife when she was ill and married a “beer heiress,” had a worthless, fat, big-mouthed daughter, and spent the next twenty-five years screwing with the legislative process. I truly wish he had died in the Hanoi Hilton. He’s done more damage to this country than did Jane Fonda!
As bad as Obama has been, his presidency is probably less productive than a McLame presidency would have been. I shudder to think I actually gave this bastard money to get elected!

Let me throw this up for discussion (I don’t necessarily believe this):

Perhaps McCain is doing this the right way.

If Congress authorizes Obama to simply lob a few missles into Syria and then call it quits, then Obama makes good on his red line threat and looks like a hero.

If Congress refuses to authorize Obama to lob a few missles into Syria, then Obama gets to blame republicans for allowing the use of WMDs.

However...

If the republicans offer up a full declaration of war, or a near equivalent, then the democrats will be forced to vote it down (or else answer to their anti-war base). Thus, no attack on Syria, Obama looks foolish, and he cannot blame republicans.

Just for discussion, but is McCain smarter than all of us?

McCain wants boots on the ground and a long, protracted deployment

Even if they gave o a full declaration for war, his base would still follow him. They will always blame republicans. They need to for the 2014 mid-terms..part of the plan.
