McCain, who has long favored stepped-up U.S. involvement in the Syrian civil war, said he opposes the resolution crafted by fellow Sens. Bob Menendez of New Jersey and Bob Corker of Tennessee. The resolution puts a 90-day limit on action and says no American troops can be sent to Syria.
McCain reportedly wants more than cruise missile strikes and "limited" action; he wants to tilt the direction of the civil war. He has, though, said he doesn't want combat troops on the ground in Syria.

So his complaint is that Obama is not providing enough support to Al Qaeda?
Typical headlines trying to make him seem like the good guy, when in reality he wants us involved even more than the rest of them do.
In my opinion, the whining senile fool should resign and live in an assisted living facility in the Arizona desert.
N.B.: At this point, and for some time, if McCain supports something, it is almost determinately a bad idea. He is, at least, reliable in that way.
What does it say about the American people that we have such a low caliber of people representing us?
Call one of his offices and Arizona and slam him. You won’t get through to the D.C. office. I managed to get hung up on. Flood his telephone. Absolutely no involvement in Syria!
