Barack Obama portrayed his plans for US military action in Syria as part of a broader strategy to topple Bashar al-Assad, as tougher White House rhetoric began to win over sceptical Republicans in Congress on Tuesday. While stressing that Washington's primary goal remained "limited and proportional" attacks, to degrade Syria's chemical weapons capabilities and deter their future use, the president hinted at a broader long-term mission that may ultimately bring about a change of regime.

Make noise over Israel to keep the masses at bay with a common enemy. Don't start anything with your neighbors. Do as you please with your masses and deal with the consequences as your own. When the Soviets, Americans, French, and Brits come a calling to bartar with, use the proceeds to keep those animals churned out by your radical mosques into pink mist. Use what's left over to send your future leaders to western universities for an education that doesn't involve 72 virgins and suicide vests. Then make sure they come back home.
Republicans in D.C. must be some of the dumbest people on earth. Can’t the idiots see that the deceiver is setting them up? If they vote to go with this disaster in syria they will own it. Which is what the deceiver wants. He needed a way to hang the “war” around the GOP neck. Also he is using this “crisis” to divert attention from obamacare and our need to defund it before Oct 1. We are burned, and America is falling before our eyes.

Maybe this is just an orchestration to provoke Iran to retaliate and attack Israel and then the US can and most likely will nuke Iran
