Better yet, they should frag** Boehner and replace him with a new leader.

** figuratively speaking of coarse.

Uh, Boner is not much of a leader to follow, as is proven month after month.

It’s just those EVIL, OBSTRUCTIONIST REPUBLICANS, doing anything they can to deny THE MEDIA MESSIAH, Barack Obama, a victory, even if it means the slaughter of “THE CHILDREN!”.

Like those EVIL, OBSTRUCTIONIST RUSSIANS in the U.N., they are just racists, who hate the idea of a black President.

My congressman has been pretty quiet, Amash and Bentivolio in neighboring districts have both said NO.

The term “whipping” to get ones vote seems a bit racist

Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), whose aides and allies run the whip process, isn’t yet in favor of Obama’s request for military authority in Syria.

I guess the director hasn't cued him yet.

Check the numbers on Drudge’s poll. Not going well for OBayMe or Boner.

80% isn’t very promising considering the democrats are 100%.

I think most of what’s being said now is BS. Congress will approve this, it’ll all go to hell, then democrats will use it as a campaign issue against them in 2014. That’s how stupid the republicans are.

Giving this team a congressional authorization for military force in Syria is like giving an arsonist a jumbo case of matches, an unlimited supply of gasoline and a truck load of molotov cocktails.

Whatever happened to the UAR ?
We got this guy in the White House who likes to pop his mouth off and because of it people die. He picks on some poor security guard just doing his job. Shoots his mouth off because he sees an advantage to push items on his socialist agenda by painting a target on a supporters back. To which his supporters like good socialists they are spin tales of lies and falsehoods that wind up causing a race war in this country. The GOPES (gop Elite Snobs) so called political opposition leadership want to go along with this bad policy on Syria because they don’t wan’t to be blamed for this terrible idea. With the guard which affects the demographics they claim to be reaching out to blacks, hispanics and whites. They say nothing and can’t even call the political opposition for what they are socialist.

OPbama draws some line in the sand on some civil war thats going on in a region who’s outcome really doesn’t threaten US even though a former enemy which is going through its own stuggles has a naval base there. And now we’re supposed to support a military action which could cost American lives in the end....All because our fearless leader spoke ?

The only reliable intell comes from the Israelis and there are times they don’t know. We marched into Iraq the 2nd time thinking we’d be welcome with open arms because of it.Instead the aftermath turns out to be Christians out and Sunni’s in with the Kurds gaining some measure of independence.

But after the 1st dust up when we kicked Iraq out of Kuwait because of oil when the Kurds acted up and Hussain gassed them we did nothing. Now we get this high blown “democracy” b/s about an incident where very likely both sides are reverting to its use. As Syria itself is fragmenting into different identities. Kurdish, Alewite and Suni.

Who really doesn’t want that ? Turks for sure, the Saudis and the Shite principalities. Russia would be OK with it because of their naval base is in the Alewite area.

Now when the Syrians and the Russians start shooting back defending themselves because we’re shooting at them what else would you expect ?

Nuts

Letter from U.S. Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL)

The 2012 ACU rating of Spencer Bachus was >80%.

Spencer Bachus Writes BHO

August 29, 2013
The Honorable Barack H. Obama
President of the United States of America
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20500-0003

Dear Mr. President:

As the Administration considers options for responding to the events in Syria, I strongly urge you not to undertake any actions involving the use of our U.S. military without providing a full justification to Congress and the American people. It is important that such a presentation be made to Congress except in such cases when we are responding to aggression or an imminent threat against the United States and its interests.

While we all decry the atrocities in Syria and wonder how any regime could treat its people in cruel and inhumane ways, the terms of any potential U.S. military intervention have not yet been appropriately defined or limited. Among the central issues that must be addressed when it comes to the deployment of U.S. military personnel and materiel are the nature of the mission, its achievability and probable results, and its relation to our national security interests. In my view, I have not yet seen this case being made with regard to Syria.

As you know, both Article I of the Constitution and the War Powers Act invest Congress with considerable obligations when it comes to matters involving the use of military force. It is a legal and moral responsibility that I take most seriously and it is why I implore you not to undertake any precipitous action that would bypass our system of checks and balances. Please know that I am in support of Congress reconvening even before our scheduled return date if it is needed for you to present a full report to this body and the American people.

Sincerely,
Spencer Bachus
Member of Congress

A quick note to my Congressman, who has called for an immediate Congressional debate but is yet to go on record in opposition to U.S. military involvement. This is not the time for a fence-sitter.
