Dozens of people took to the streets and had their very first March on Richmond Saturday morning.

This comes after thousands gathered for the March on Washington this past week. Advocates who rallied for jobs and freedom say change starts at the local level.

For these demonstrators, it's all about taking action and securing the future for generations to come.

"We can win ladies and gentlemen if you participate," Richmond NAACP Director, King Salim Khalfani.

Well, if they really wanted “Jobs & Freedom” they shouldn’t have voted for Obama.

They had to stay on the plantation. They keep buying into the Dim party lies, now they are worse off than before. Morons!

Don’t feel so bad. I saw the headline and thought they were talking about Richmond, CA.

If they want freedom and a job, then they should start their own business.

What rights under the law are denied to anyone based on race or skin color or ethnicity?

Is anyone denied the right to vote?

Is anyone discriminated against in pubpublic accommodations?

Is anyone forced to attend an inferior segregated school?

How can there be all of these King dreams not yet fulfilled, when one of their own is president? We have seen numerous minority congressmen, senators, governors of states, Fortune 500 executives, Supreme Court justices, etc.

If they want freedom and a job, then they should start their own business.

In their warped minds, white people didn't have to start businesses because all white people were born into vats of money due to some alleged white privilege.

Somebody should point out to them that Asians, and Indians, and... well... every group that comes to America starts more business and runs circles around the hapless, victim-minded American black.

These protestors are the exact opposite of JFK's famous line of, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." They want... no... demand that the government do everything for them.

Well, NAACP, use your power and money and create as many jobs as you want. Contribute to society rather than keep taking..................

They can’t be hurting that much if they can all afford smart phones and the coverage plans that go with them.

“Somebody should point out to them that Asians, and Indians, and... well... every group that comes to America starts more business and runs circles around the hapless, victim-minded American black.”

Near me, in a black neighborhood, there is a convenience store run by an Asian family. They seem to be fairly new immigrants. The younger ones that work there are normally reading text books between helping customers.

The adult black men are normally huddled behind the store smoking and drinking.

Since these black men are my age, I know they had the same opportunity for an education as I did. We all went to the same govt schools.
