do we have freedom to do whatever we want? no.

do we have freedom to murder? do we have freedom to break into others’ houses? do we have freedom to use others how we want, regardless of what they want?

do we have freedom to marry the dead, the already married, the too-young-to-consent? do we have fredom to marry a parent or sibling or grandparent? or child?

no.

society determines what is legal and for most of history that which was legal also lined up with the prevailing morality of the society.

so hell to the yes we can say gay marriage is wrong, and we can KEEP it illegal because it is morally wrong, and has always been considered so. the fact perverts have made dents in peoples’ views of it doesn’t make it any less immoral.

Homos want one thing - - to jam a thumb in the eye of normal people. Never forget that.
It's what their whole gay "marriage" tantrum is about. Legal equality, such as provided by "civil unions", is not good enough.

There's a reason kids today use phrases like, "That's so gay," as a deragatory comment. It has nothing to do with their upbringing or home environment, and is actually in direct contradiction to what the government schools relentlessly try to beat into them. Even the constant efforts of the decadent movie / television / newsroom culture to "normalize" homosexuality fall miserably short when it comes to children.

That is because kids understand naturally - - instinctively - - that there is just something sick about a man pushing his penis into another man's anus full of turd. It's one of those things nobody needs to teach, and it is why homosexuals instinctively feel ashamed of what they are and what they do, and why they suffer the tears of a clown even as they march with fake smiles in fake "pride" parades. In psychology parlance, a "gay pride parade" is known as a "hall of mirrors".

I have no doubt her position will “evolve” as soon as she gets to DC

They, the Bushes, the Clintons and many Kennedys should be in exile in a third world country pulling off their tar and feathers and fearing that patriotic Americans will track them down.

Instead, they’re royalty.

>> Until folks begin to fiercely vet these candidates by the plumb line of principle, there’s no hope for the republic. <<

Yep. Same problem in 2010 when Florida's conservative activists and tea party groups decided to anoint Marco Rubio as their stand-bearer the moment he announced. Not one of them was interested in vetting him. Now they're whining about how Rubio "betrayed" them, and they want to try to "recall" him even though its blatantly unconstitutional to use state laws to try and recall federal officials. Sorry Florida conservatives, you don't get to take a mulligan and start over again. Elections have consequences and you blew it, now you're stuck with him for six years. Maybe learn from this and don't get dazzled by "rising stars" next time. Hopefully Wyoming voters aren't drinking the kool-aid.

I was charmed by the wonderful rhetoric of Rubio’s departure speech from the speakership of the Florida House. But that shine lasted about five minutes. It was apparent from the git-go that he supported amnesty. He refused to sign on to our personhood efforts. And he was running around raising piles of cash with politicians like Scott Brown, and Rudy Guiliani, and Mitt Romney. So, bottom line, we never endorsed the man.

“Freedom means freedom for everyone. That means that all families—regardless of how they look or how they are made—all families are entitled to the same rights, privileges and protections as every other.”

Unless said "everyone" happens to disagree with homosexual tenets or happens to own a catering business and only want to cater to those who do not try to destroy our society. In those cases, certain "everyones" must be taught to bow before homosexual endeavors.

Those who choose homosexual relationships are too afraid or too selfish to truly give themselves to another with all the potential consequences of natural love.

My experience has been that male homosexuals are that way for any kind of sex, and that female homosexuals are that way because they fear and/or hate men.

It's sad because the former never have enough "partners" (sex without love being very empty), and the latter never get beyond their fear and/or hatred of men. On the latter, why else do they try to be macho men ? Or only respond to "macho" women ?

In either case, their proclivities do not deserve to be societally honored as "marriage". I'm sorry, but they're warped personalities, and fortunately a small minority. It ain't the same, and doesn't deserve recognition as such.

Really?

What if they're a family of men, boys, and farm animals?

“not something to be decided by a show of hands.”

Hey bull dyke. You’re right. It’s something to be decided by God, and he already spoke on the issue. Marriage is a man and woman. So deal with it.

Indeed. Miss(I refuse to call her “Mrs.”) Mary Cheney would probably say the same thing about Jesus:

“And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Matthew 19:4-6
