NBC/WSJ poll: 79% (8/10) Obama needs Congressional approval before strike on Syria.

Rand Paul haws said that he wouldn't want his son fighting on the same side as Al Qaeda. Dennis Kucinich has said that a strike on Syria would make the U.S. Al Qaeda's air force.

On and on it goes... Tea Partiers, conservatives, progressives, libertarians, independents, 8/10... and Obama's and Biden's own words in 2007 - they don't line up with Kerry, Biden & Obama of 2013.

Ed Schultz of MSNBC, too, had some choice words concerning the U.S. striking Syria.

But where is Code Pink? Crickets chirping...

We have to violate the Constitution to find out what’s in it.

An Accidental War
Perfunctory and ineffectual war-making in Syria is worse than nothing.
By Mark Steyn

An American official said that the initial target lists included fewer than 50 sites, including air bases where Syria’s Russian-made attack helicopters are. The list includes command and control centers as well as a variety of conventional military targets. Perhaps two to three missiles would be aimed at each site.

Got that? So, if you’re a Syrian air-base commander, you might want to think about moving those Russian helicopters, or at least yourself — perhaps to that black-eyed cutie’s apartment, above the restaurant where the kibbeh with the pomegranate sauce is to die for, just for the night, until the Great Satan has twerked his ordnance at you twice or thrice and gone away to threaten the Yemenis or Somalis or whoever’s next.

Even Lefties man up once in a while.  I find it hard to comprehend how they could muster the courage to challenge the Magic..., well whatever, though.

“But where is Code Pink? Crickets chirping...”

In fairness to Cindy Sheehan, I do not doubt for a second she is pissed off and screeching and flailing her arms about this, however, since the president doesn’t have an R after his name, the media could care less what she has to say.

Zoe Lofgren (sp?) had a moment if clarity last night when discussing the requirement of obtaining the approval of Congress before an act if war.
(Paraphrased):
‘Let me ask you this...if someone initiated a limited air strike on DC which lasted less than a day, would you consider it an act if war against the United States?’
Best question of the discussion so far.

I might consider it self defense. Where did you say this air strike was launched from?

The Obama Nation has become really, really weird.

I never thought I’d prefer the opinions of Dennis Kucinich and Amy Goodman over those most widely held among the Republican leadership. Nor could I have imagined that I’d find the US President less trustworthy than the Russian President.

His Oneness has certainly accomplished fundamental transformation. I doubt it’s the sort of change that the Obamatons originally hoped for, though they still seem entranced by Hope ‘n Change.

Here's what Cindy Sheehan has to say about Obama:

I have NEVER supported Barack Obama and voted for Cynthia McKinney of the Green Party in 2008 and also supported Ralph Nader (I). I made a vow at Camp Casey in 2005 to NEVER support any politician, or party that supported war--so that excludes most Democrats and almost every Republican.

http://cindysheehanssoapbox.blogspot.com/

Sheehan is a pacificist and a communist (lower c). With respect to Syria:

In the event of U.S. military strikes against Syria, the ANSWER Coalition is calling on organizations and individuals to take to the streets in opposition to what would be a destructive and criminal war by the U.S. government.

She was a useful idiot for the Democrats. Now that a Democrat is in office, she has outlived her usefulness to the Democrats and their spokespersons in MSM.
