The initial firestorm surrounding the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups may have subsided, but tea party leaders say the situation has only become worse and may lead to more lawsuits against the embattled agency.
New documents show the depth of information the IRS is seeking from Tea Party Patriots, a leading conservative group that first applied for 501(c)(4) tax-exempt status in late 2010 and one of many organizations singled out for extra scrutiny by the Obama administration.
An IRS letter sent to the group last week and obtained by The Washington Times contains a laundry list of requests related to virtually all the group’s activities, including its involvement in the 2012 election cycle and its get-out-the-vote efforts, fundraising activities, all radio and TV advertising, and other information.
The IRS also is asking for detailed financial records, including “the amounts and percentages of your total expenses that were for fundraising activities in the tax year 2011, 2012 and 2013.”

Now that nothing really has happened to IRS, their overlords in the Rat White Hut are doubling down: they smell weakness.
Many here were cynical enough to believe that the Republicans really didn’t care, because they don’t like the Tea Party either.
Looks like they were right with a vengeance.
I knew nothing would change. That agency is above the law.
Boehner is too involved PROTECTING himself and Obama
in what they did in Benghazi,
and reading endless loveint to use against others.
I saw Jenny Beth Martin on Greta VanSusteren’s show “The Record” a couple of nights ago. Greta said it is sickeningly obvious to her the IRS is keeping the tea party tax exempt status “in limbo” on purpose rather than denying them because that prevents the tea party from taking action against them. She said it is digusting.
The Obama administration is seeking to destroy citizen organizations if they have taken a political position that is in opposition. It is despicable. Obama’s arrogance is appalling. They are illegally using the full power of the federal government to harass and intimidate citizens for their political beliefs. It is un-American.
Most transparent administration, compared to what? Chicago, Jersey City, Zimbabwe?
We are becoming a third world nation and Obama is running this country like a third world thug. He is taking lessons from Robert Mugabe.
This is an impeachable abuse of power.

It does but the fastest solution is to impeach that bastard in the White House along with his idiot sidekick Baden and send both of them to prison for high crimes and misdemeanors.
Leftists don’t give up until you shoot them.
