Interesting that even the Muslim "Bros" in Jordan have reasons the west (US) should not engage in a military strike on Syrian Government assets. I abhor the use of chemical weapons and the deaths of innocents as much as any rational individual should. However, we just don't need to waste our time in Syria's civil war. There are no good outcomes, only potentially very dire.

This is why we should stay out of this mess. It is like a domestic violence dispute. When the cop arrives he gets attacked by both the husband and wife. The Muslim Bros. are a Sunni Islamist organization, their fellow adherents are the ones battling Assad on the ground. In Syria, both sides hate us. When will we learn.

The Muslim Brotherhood knows that they only have a chance to take over if the USA is not involved. If the US intervenes we will never allow Assad’s WMD to fall into the hands of the opposition. The Saudis who are arming the opposition also will never tolerate the MB coming to power just like they could not tolerate them running Egypt. Obama may personally sympathize with the MB, but in the end he will obey his Saudi masters who paid for his education. That’s why Obama has not called Morsi’s ouster a coup or cut off aid.
