If 1,000 or 10,000 veterans showed up at their door, what, exactly, would they do?
They are just attacking the Americans
that the treasonous US Congress and al Qaeda (their partners)
can’t be bothered to attack.
The evil self-serving
(Laws for others but not for themselves)
Congress is just too busy leaving the borders open,
arming terrorists, and keeping those crucifixions,
cannibalism, rapes and Islamic slave-takings going.
What specific documentation pertaining to membership eligibility are American Legions being required to supply? My dad said he had to provide his discharge papers when he joined years ago. Is there something more?
Only idiots listen and believe in ANYTHING mac daddy says or does.
This bath house member is unable to tell the truth about ANYTHING.
This has been making the rounds in FR circles.
Membership in The American Legion and the VFW are regulated to be at specific times as stated and voted on by their respective memberships. It is Restricted to times of a declared conflict.
To belong to a local American Legion or VFW post the applicant must produce a copy of his record of service known as a DD-214 and that copy is retained by that local post. It proves the dates of service and cites any combat awards and foreign theater campaign awards given to that individual.
While the American Legion requires the individual to be in service during those times , the VFW requires a member to have a foreign theater ribbon proving they served overseas with the exception of the Alaskan WWII campaigns.
If posts do not have these documents on file the respective state organizations known as Departments can and do shut them down. I belong to both and have served as an officer in both.

Alvin Yorks Experience with the IRS!
We all know the story from the wonderful Gary Cooper film about one of the greatest Christian heroes of WWI (or any era, for that matter). What follows is a partial reprint from a piece which ran in the 1/6/98 issue of The New American magazine and tells as Paul Harvey would say the rest of the story: (Start New American piece)
Upon returning to America, Sergeant York was showered with offers of fame and fortune, including a nationwide tour, endorsements, and movie deals. But such was not in Yorks character, who claimed I felt that to take money like that would be commercializing my uniform and soldering. York wrote in his diary: It was very nice, but I sure wanted to get back to my people where I belonged, and the little old mother and the little mountain girl who were waiting. And I wanted to be in the mountains again and get out with hounds, and tree a coon or knock over a red fox. And in the midst of the dinners and receptions I couldnt help thinking of these things.
Alvin York went home to his mountains. He made his way to the same mountain where he prayed to God two years earlier for guidance, and there thanked God for bringing him home safely from the war.
In 1927, York established the Alvin C. York Agricultural Institute for the boys and girls of the mountains who had few educational opportunities. By 1937, York was no longer able to operate the school and it became a special part of the Tennessee public school system. In 1941, the story of Alvin York was made into a movie starring Gary Cooper, who won the Academy Award for the role. Alvin York acted as an adviser to the film. In 1952, he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and became bedridden.
By 1961, Alvin York, one of Americas greatest military heroes, was partially paralyzed, almost blind, and virtually penniless.
THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, THROUGH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, REPAID ITS DEBT BY SUING YORK FOR BACK TAXES. THE IRS CLAIMED THAT YORKS ROYALTIES FROM THE MOVIE, MOST OF WHICH HAD GONE TO CHARITY, SHOULD BE TAXED AT A HIGHER RATE THAN YORK HAD USED. IN ALL, THE IRS CLAIMED YORK OWED THE U.S.GOVERNMENT $85,442, PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $87,155 IN INTEREST. THE IRS OFFERED TO SETTLE FOR $25,000 HOWEVER, WHEN IT BECAME APPARENT THAT ALL OF YORKS ASSETS DID NOT EQUAL THE $172,597 SOUGHT. WHEN THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WAS ALERTED TO SERGEANT YORKS PLIGHT, INDIVIDUALS CHIPPED IN OVER $50,000 WHICH COVERED THE DEBT WITH MONEY LEFT OVER FOR A TRUST FUND. (End of New American excerpt.)

I wonder when the IRS is going to check out the Homeland Security crazy - the ‘kill white people’ creep... Oh, I forgot - wanting to kill people is OK with the IRS as long as the dead aren’t liberals... Double for the FBI...
So now we learn that the Obama administration is micromanaging and wanting to kill and thwart support for the American Legion, since it supports America’s military men and women. Obama must be impeached now. This is a tyrannical, totalitarian administration.
How about when the Secretary of State produces his DD-214?
Did you all see where old slow joe went to speak to the American Legion at their convention. While the regime’s IRS is targeting them? Wonder how many of the attendees knew this.
I was a personnel clerk in Nam. The IRS was hounding many in my unit, including me. Trying to convince the IRS to ease up was impossible. In my case, before entering the Army I gave money to a Wesleyan Methodist Church. The IRS said it was not a legitimate church. Only the mainline Methodist Church and the AME were legitimate Methodist Churches.
After returning, I moved into Cong Rosty’s district. He was powerful on the House Ways and Means Committee and he controlled all IRS jobs in his Chicago area. Cong Rosty frequently interceded with the IRS on behalf of illegal immigrants (mostly from Poland and Eastern Europe). But pretty much ignored the oppression of those in the military. He couldn’t count on their votes like he could the illegals from Poland.
