Well if Israel and Syria go to war, thanks to Obama, the effects around the world could be staggering. I don’t think he’s worried about some mid term elections here.

Have you ever known Obama to worry about anything but elections? He let our diplomats die while he planned a Vegas fundraiser for crying out loud. Its all about furthering his agenda. Sure, he’d love to help the Jihadis, but it might be bridge too far. Goal #1 is turning America into a Marxist utopia.

I doubt Israel is too worried about Syria right now. Countries usually aren’t very good at fighting civil wars and international wars at the same time.

What would radically and rapidly escalated oil prices do to the mid terms? assuming, of course, that the Democrats don’t make use of their capacity to control the outcomes of the electronic voting machines. I am not optimistic about the prospects for mid terms no matter what happens before November.

IMO, bluff. I don’t think Assad is stupid enough to fight both the jihadis and the Israelis at the same time. He has enough on his plate with the jihadis alone. However, I don’t believe we should get involved when arabs are fighting arabs.
