Please note -
I was not one of those of whom you speak. Not that I consider myself anything but a run-of-the-mill FReeper. I didn’t even know there was an A-List.
(Of course I keep a list of “A” FReepers for myself, but the “A” in question is anything but a term of approbation.)
Yep. I knew about it way back when, and all through the treason media’s “There were no WMDs in Iraq/Bush lied millions died” era.
My brother was also ‘zotted’ for making a comment that was considered racist way back when. Now that the “Chickens Have Come Home To Roost”, he reports many comments today much worse than what he tried to post. Perhaps like Obongo, we have “Evolved” regarding our opinions.
Anyway, Powell was simply a ‘token’ General that always chose the trail to the Left but was given a pass due to his complexion and America’s need to show him off to the world.
BTW, what’s a: A-list FReepers?
I think OLDTIMERS DISEASE is creeping into this dude. He caught it from Oprah
Dude, I know you weren’t. I regret that my tone made it sound like you were.
My own KMA List has been growing for years, but in the last two years it has grown exponentially.
I’m glad you and I are cool.
Someday it would be interesting to compare our “lists.” I bet we’ve got a lot of the same names on them.....
Give Ursula my best.

Post # 55:
But for Colin Powells involvement in this? Hey, wait a minute. Hes a black American hero.
Like hell. He was subordinate to Americal Division G-2, who should have gotten in a helicopter and flown down the ten minutes down there. But instead he stays in his air conditioned hooch and writes a soothing report about how American troops are trained not to do things like this. Just what the General wants to hear. Then gets back to his beer, or whatever.
He should have been kicked out of the Army for his negligence.

Sorry ‘bout that.
what a useless tool!!
Were it not for affirmative action, Powell would have been RIF’d after stalling at Captain.
Thanks for the oldy. And I STILL say it.
