The Spokane Police Department has arrested a suspect and are searching for another in the brutal beating death of 88-year-old WWII veteran Delbert Belton.
Demetrius Glenn, 16, was reportedly taken into custody by police early Friday morning. He will be tried as an adult for first degree murder and robbery, KXLY-TV reports. Police are currently searching for the second suspect, identified as Kenan Adams-Kinard.
Glenn reportedly has a lengthy a criminal history. He has faced charges of malicious mischief, third and fourth degree assault and driving without a license, KHQ News reports. He was also reportedly involved in a “riot with a deadly weapon.”
Kinard also has a juvenile criminal history, but few details were immediately available.
Belton was pronounced dead early Thursday morning after being brutally beaten by the two teens in a parking lot on Wednesday evening.
The victim’s family spoke out on the tragic incident on Friday, revealing graphic details about the elderly man’s final moments.

I hope the authorities in Spokane have the good sense to try these two as adults.
String both of these little bastards up within two weeks of being found guilty, and then let them hang in the hot sun for about three days as an example.
These little animal murderers, or murderer wanna-bes, need to get exactly what Trayvon Martin got if caught in the act, and need to be swiftly executed if caught thereafter and shown to be the murderers.
There was no “compassion,” or mercy shown to Billy the Kid who started killing when he was like 12 years old. They had a shoot on site notice on him.

It’s probably just me, but sometimes I almost sense a pattern on some of these killings.
I’ve read some articles about some older Marines over the years. You don’t want to mess with some of them either...doing things with their bare hands. I wish that dear older person had been carrying.
But you see, all these black on white murders don’t matter because the “system is working” - the perps are being caught, tried and sentenced. So it’s not like Trayvon where Zimmerman “got away with it.” These deaths don’t matter at all. Ignore the emerging pattern. /sarc

My view is this: if you use a weapon to deliberately kill another, then you are no longer a child.
