The TEA party is the last gasp of hope that we might find a way to forestall the next civil war or societal collapse.

Not looking good though

We are the tea party. It’s a grassroots movement, not a political party.

"Bob Corker, not so much. It is still his first term."

Au Contraire. Corker was elected Senator in 2006 and re-elected in 2012. I voted for Zach Poskevich in the '12 primary.

They are, and John Boehner of Cincinnati just told his “Republican” colleagues in a conference call that the party will do NOTHING to defund Obamacare or reduce deficits in any way. Few things are less surprising than this inaction. Source: The Mark Levin Show.

There is no political solution because of the ineptitude of Republican primary voters.

Poskevich

Sadly, with a name like that the uninformed of TN would't pay him a second look. One has to have name ID to win in TN, but maybe Bill Frist overcame his lack of ID with the "Frist Will Put You first" false mantra.

BOTh Alexander and Corker are back in Tenn attempting to put a positive spin on themselves. It isn't selling well to most constituents.

BOTH need to be REPLACED. They are RINOs to the core.

Bob Corker, not so much. It is still his first term. The option was John Ford, Jr. (D). Hopefully Corker will be one and done. Lamar! First time around he replaced Algore. So, yes he was an improvement then. Second time around was the first time R's took control of the State House. No one ran against Lamar! in the primary. Our energy was focused on the State House and Senate. Now we control the House and Senate. While we still have a few old rhino’s there we can now turn our focus to the U.S. house and senate. N.B.: Lamar! is from his campaign graphics. I do not include the exclamation point in a nice way.

Corker just got his second term in 2012. Last election I voted for Clayton-D who was running far right of Corker as a Conservative.

The only time I voted for Alexander was for governor and I never voted for Corker. Alexander replaced Thompson or rather Alexander announced his intentions for Thompson's seat hours before Thompson stated he was not running. Harlan Matthews I'm fairly certain replaced Gore and was appointed by then governor Ned Ray McWherter -D. Fred Thompson took Harlan Mathews place.

Bob Corker took Bill Frist place and took office in Jan. 2007

I don't believe the DEMs as of now are seriously considering running anyone against Alexander. Why should they when he can do more for them disrupting Conservative causes as a Republican.

The Liberal leaning newspapers in Tennessee are running fluff stories on both Alexander and Corker for their reaching out to Democrats Bipartisan BS.

Corker's DEM opposition in 2012 was a guy who managed to get past the party leadership. Don't flame me for saying this but we'd been far better off had Clayton won against Corker. I think the guys name was Mark Clayton and he was very far right of Corker on issues. The state Democratic Party was not happy about that LOL.
