Islamist mobs have torched schools and businesses owned by Christians, looted churches and even paraded captive nuns through the streets of a city south of Cairo in a display of rage unseen in Egypt’s recent history.

........ The campaign of killing and arson is retaliation for the tiny Christian community’s support of the military coup that ousted President Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood government.

........ Since the military removed Mr. Morsi seven weeks ago, his supporters have burned at least 44 churches and ransacked more than 20 other Christian institutions throughout Egypt.

"The Religion of Peace" once again lives up to its name.

What could be more Peaceful than lying in a nice quiet mass grave?

Surely the Coptic Christians are grateful. Maybe the kindly, generous jihadists with their 72 virgins apiece will share an extra virgin or two with the Coptics.

Persecuting Christians. Never thought I’d live to see this day. Can’t wait for His coming.

The term “reprisal” suggests that the brotherhood is retaliating against the Coptic Christians for something they did. That’s clearly not the case.

So are the Coptic Christians following Luke 22:36 and defending themselves?

Egypt’s Coptic Christians face unprecedented reprisals from the Muslim Brotherhood

What's so-called "unprecedented" about well over 1,000 years of murderous history?

Muslim Brotherhood attack, murder, rape Christians. Then they are overthrown by the military. So in "reprisal" they attack, murder, rape Christians.

Its safer than attacking the military. And the press can always be counted on to blame the victims for the supposed fact that they are happy that the people who attack, murder, and rape them are no longer in power, thus somehow justifying more attacks, murder, and rape.

They somehow don't get that this is what Muslim Brotherhood does. In power, out of power, sun up and sun down. Attack murder and rape anyone who is unable to defend themselves.

you say: “Persecuting Christians. Never thought I’d live to see this day.”

And only ONE worlds leader is speaking out about it - only one...and he's calling for other leaders to step in and help stop this.

and WHO is that one?

http://answersforthefaith.com/2013/08/08/putin-world-leaders-should-unite-to-end-christian-persecution/

the same -and only - one that refuses to bow down to the homosexuels. The only one that is defending Christianity.
The world is, indeed, turned upside down.

And - he is bringing the Church back to prominence in Russia -

Is he Russia's ‘Manchurian Candidate’ in reverse? He was baptized as a baby, in secret, because of the times. He carries a cross on him at all times - one that his mother gave him as a young man. His father was a Communist - affording him the opportunity to get into avenues of power - and finally to a position where he can ‘come out of the closet’ as to his faith and restore the Church - and stand against the society destroying gay lifestyle that is taking over the countries of the world.

quote: ““The foundation of our national, spiritual and cultural life was laid 1025 years ago,” he said. “Our ancestors adopted the Christian faith and, together with it, a system of values and morals … that no historical upheavals were able to destroy.”

We live in a paradigm shift - mind boggling. Maybe it's time to learn some conversational Russian?

In their most recent wave of violence, they've murdered 6 Coptic Christians ....... and one Muslim who worked at a Coptic-owned store ("oops! sorry! we'll check ID cards in the next massacre").

But even though the Muslim Brotherhood has:
denounced Christians at public events, over social media and on pro-Morsi TV channels
- for example:
... the Facebook page of the Muslim Brotherhood’s local branch in the Cairo suburb of Helwan accuses the Coptic Church of siding with the military and warned, “For every action there is a reaction.”
- nevertheless it turns out that the anti-Christian violence, at least according to the M.B., is not their fault.

The violence, according to the M.B. spokesman, is merely due to:
“Ongoing acts of vandalism are aimed at damaging our reputation, demonizing our peaceful revolution and finding justification for the July 3 coup commanders and collaborators to continue their acts of repression and violence.”

So it's all a frame-up by their enemies! I like how they use that word - "Vandalism".

Burning down 44 churches is just "Vandalism" - sort of like the spray-painted drivel on the side of a boxcar.

Killing 7 people and subjecting nuns to 6 hours of public abuse is just "Vandalism" - no more serious than having your car "keyed".

Egypt’s Coptic Christians face unprecedented reprisals from the Muslim Brotherhood

Egypt’s Coptic Christians face continuing persecution, killing, and church burning from the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood has been killing Christians and burning their churches for years. They are simply being more open about it now that they have the current administration in their pocket.

Furthermore, the Christians supported the Egyptian military because they did not like being killed by the Muslim Brotherhood. Now they are being killed because they do not like being killed. Our Administration is still trying to figure that out.

Now is the time for our “Christian” House and Senate members to stand and deliver and protest what is happening to the Copts in Egypt.

Oh wait, separation between Church and State.

McShame and Linda can comment on State affairs but, as good Americans, should not get involved in religious matters which are only to be touched at the moment of death.

Hey you twits, there is plenty of death of innocents going on.

I heard on the radio a few days ago that Egypt is 50% Christian.

I had no idea it was close to that number.
