What if she reported bath salts but it was really something else. Would this guy arrest her for filing a false report?

Cops don’t like us trying to be experts. “Bath salts? That’s for us to determine, m’am.”

Two drunk girls in a VW plowed into my neighbor’s parked car. Their fender was pushed against the front wheel. The driver floored it and drove about 50 feet before she gave up. I told the cop what happened. He said, “You can’t say that for sure.” I told him, “I saw it!” “But you don’t know that’s what she was doing.”

Okay.

>>Most of the posters on this thread should be ashamed for taking the story at face value. Since when has the MSM ever told you the truth? There are plenty of examples of police taking the law into their own hands, abusing power, killing innocent people and violating our rights. This isn’t one of them and he isn’t one of those cops.

The cops have steadily been getting more abusive over the past two decades. To be honest, I don’t trust them or the thugs they arrest anymore because both have a story and neither is the full truth. I’m sure that your cop friend would say the same thing when he’s interviewing two people involved in any altercation.

Since this is the only cop in America that doesn’t respond with guns drawn, I’m sure the police state will use this one example as an excuse to escalate the violence the cops inflict on the rest of the citizenry next time.

Not all cops. Police Departments and prosecutors have. They have been recruiting the wrong kind of people to pretend to be soldiers and secret agent men to do one thing: fight the drug war. To be honest, I don't trust the police anymore either. I've practiced my "I don't consent to searches" and "am I being detained or am I free to go" lines and I've even taught my little kids to NEVER open the door for the police unless THEY called them or unless we know the officer.

This was a case of an average cop responding (and quickly) to a call for help from the community, with the community not telling the cop what was going on. What's sad is what the community put him through without actually looking at the case.

I understand the distrust. I have it too. That doesn't mean you can take a trend and use it to throw an individual and his family under the bus. Want to know why it's so hard to find a good cop who responds quickly to a call? The good cops are harassed by their departments and the DA and the public assumes they are just like the bad cops. Lose. Lose. Lose. I don't blame him for striking back at all three with this lawsuit.

Maybe someone learned you have to lie to get police to act.

Response time wasn't questioned. Yeah, knowing the guy was out of his mind on dope probably would have caused the officer to wait for backup to arrive before walking in the house.

We homeschool and we were harassed by a female police officer who didn't like it, and she was from the same sheriff's department. We called this same sheriff's office when our neighbor's home was being attacked and it took them over an hour to respond to a very dangerous situation that I'm sure the responding officer didn't want to deal with. I know what bad police officers are and what they do. When we get a good one who actually does his job and shows up to the call, this is what happens.

After the deputy uses so much self-control in apprehending the guy the deputy almost dies and is permanently disfigured, the community harasses the deputy, his wife and his kid. Would YOU show up when someone called? I wouldn't.

If things are as you say, this is a legal gambit by the officer’s insurance company (union) to get the homeowner’s insurance to pony up some of the money for medical care.

It will not even get to a jury. There will be a non-disclosed settlement after the two insurance companies’ legal teams face off and size each other up.

Allowing those with immunity to sue the Sovereign Citizen is unconscionable.

Either grant immunity to both parties or to none.
