Yes, it looks like a lot of people missed the big-tent comments that came at the end, after all the fireworks, so we wouldn’t hardly notice. They’re getting smarter but smarter at fooling their own people too.
until his name is John Smith he will never reach certain audiences we need....I’ve decided to all him Ryan Press....much easier to see, spell and pronunce
We don’t need someone leading the party that sounds like an elite prince..
AMEN!!!!! AMEN!!!!! AMEN!!!!! CLOSE the PRIMARIES!!!
Well, I find it interesting how downstream all of the Romney bashers are choosing to ignore the reality of your comment. The election has long been over but just like democrat Bush bashers, those with (BDS) Bush derangement syndrome, they can’t seem to accept the election reality that their choice and attitude has given us the second term of the worst tyrant in American history.
A bow to the class of ‘97. Now to my question. Closing the primaries means what exactly? To endless, pointless, debates? Or what?
Nope. Romney’s inability to attract more votes than the other guy is what lost him the election.
If he hadn’t flip flopped on every issue and actually been as tough on Obama as he had been on his primary opponents he could have won anyways.
Then he could have renamed ObamaCare after himself and mandated sodomy and an abortion doctors in every school once he won.
I might agree with your first sentence, if it wasn’t for the tired repetitive following two sentences that don’t square with reality, and we will never know how he would have governed because he didn’t win. I don’t accept all the horse manure that was spread about how folks think he would have governed based on this that and the other, not to mention the reality of Obama.
This could end up a double post the way things are going right now. I have to refresh twice to get anything to come on screen after hitting “enter”.
'Ol Rancid would deflect that by saying that is a a 'states issue'; not one for the 'national party'. Ergo; demorats will continue to choose the GOP nominee in Red Hampshire's 'bellwether' first in the nation primary. Spit.
No wonder this country is in a state of decay...the cities are gone, the suburbs rotting.
*rme* Is he running for political office?
I won’t watch any Republican Debate with any Democratic/Liberal/Progressive moderator.
What is the class of 1997??
Cue the grumbling and whining!
I don’t know why I keep coming back to the “Let’s make sure Republicans never get elected website.” It would be cause for concern if it was a movement rather than a handful of people feeding off off each other to see how many ways they can spell some cutesy word of disparagement.
Your arrival date on FR. Class of ‘97 a rare vintage.
I dont know why I keep coming back to the Lets make sure Republicans never get elected website.
Rhetorical question in the context of your entire comments.
No argument there.
In general, Republicans need several big things:
1) Candidates with some brains and guts, who stand for something, and know how to campaign. Tall order.
2) Positive policies on health care reform (i.e., something plausible they can claim will fix problems using free enterprise). Hating on ObamaCare without actually doing anything about it is getting old. Explain the connection between ObamaCare and the jobsless economy.
3) A coherent policy about legal and illegal immigration.
4) A coherent policy that would revive the moribund US economy through mega tax reform, regulatory rollback, energy development, and movement towards freedom.
5) Go nuclear on Hillary early and often until she is so toxic that Anthony Weiner would be embarrassed by her. It is what she and her media stooges will be doing to any Republican who dares oppose her.

You simply need to mature or get out of the way - you are the liberals and GOP’s dream and have been played like a fool. Personally, I don’t give a flip about you but America! So zip the lip FOR America. You are ‘seekthetruth’, NOW you have it!
