No. The tuition part is NOT okay. This is what Americans DO
they want to get in agead of American out of staters.
Look at what happens in Texas
A guy retires from the military. He and his family have been living in TX. Paying school property taxes and sales tax.
He claims texas residency after he gets out of military. Not having been sure where he’s going to settle until he gets a job
His child is not eligible for in state tuition any more than a kid from North Carolina.
