Absolutely the top NSA bureaucrats want to build a larger bureaucrat empire. They become more powerful this way....But this also translates into money. A top NSA job also makes them more desirable to hire after they retire or during a respite form working for the USG. So means they make oodles of money as compensation for steering various contracts to contractors X and Y by getting very cushy jobs at X or Y. They will then labor at X or Y to lobby their NSA friends (past co-workers) to secure more NSA contracts for contractor X or Y

There is a lucrative revolving door of employment between NSA and its contractors

I’m sure in your area as well as wino country, the past few years you/we have read about big drug busts resulting from routine traffic stops by police or someone tell the locals about a farm or a lab.

Over the years, I would wonder how a routine traffic stop or a clue from an unknown informant could lead to such big busts.

Now, we probably know where the info came from.

“impeaching 0bama ain’t gonna get the job done.”

The only thing that will get the job done is 67 Conservative Senators, 218 Conservative Congressmen, 5 Conservative Judges and Sarah Palin.

Obama administration had restrictions on NSA reversed in 2011
The Washington Post ^ | Ellen Nakashima

Posted on Sunday, September 08, 2013 6:59:34 AM by originalbuckeye

The Obama administration secretly won permission from a surveillance court in 2011 to reverse restrictions on the National Security Agency’s use of intercepted phone calls and e-mails, permitting the agency to search deliberately for Americans’ communications in its massive databases, according to interviews with government officials and recently declassified material.

In addition, the court extended the length of time that the NSA is allowed to retain intercepted U.S. communications from five years to six years — and more under special circumstances, according to the documents, which include a recently released 2011 opinion by U.S. District Judge John D. Bates, then chief judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

The Military once offered IRS an opportunity to have the Military write their computer software. REFUSED! The reason, BACK DOORS.

“ECC services will pop up overseas is the fact that Certicom (The Blackberry people) holds patents on ECC” but they will have BACK DOORS! You can trust your government not blackmail Blackberry, don’t think so.
