More Fast and Furious guns surface at crimes in Mexico
CBS ^ | August 14, 2013 | Sharyl Attkisson

Three more weapons from Fast and Furious have turned up at crime scenes in Mexico, CBS News has learned, as the toll from the controversial federal operation grows.

According to Justice Department tracing documents obtained by CBS News, all three guns are WASR-10 762-caliber Romanian rifles. Two were purchased by Fast and Furious suspect Uriel Patino in May and July of 2010. Sean Steward, who was convicted on gun charges in July 2012, purchased a third. The rifles were traced yesterday to the Lone Wolf gun shop in Glendale, Ariz.

The government first denied any guns had been allowed to "walk" into criminal hands. Later, the Justice Department acknowledged using the strategy, claiming it was intended to see where the weapons ended up in hopes of capturing a major cartel leader. But the agency ordered an immediate halt to the practice calling it highly improper.

The program has moved on to bigger and broader scope. Now it's shoulder fired anti aircraft missiles around the globe. Benghazi and Obama will be the gift that keeps giving for decades.

At leats Boeing and Airbus will see an increase in replacement sales.

The unfortunate consequences of this will unfold for years to come. Hands down the most idiotic program ever. The guns supposedly were allowed to walk in the hope of bringing federal agents to cartel leaders. Two problems. First, there was no tracking device on the guns, and they only would be uncovered after their use at crime scenes. Second, high-level leaders aren’t doing a lot of the shooting, and the guns would mostly be in the possession of expendable soldiers who these days often are just idiotic teenagers. The whole so-called premise of the program doesn’t even make sense from its inception.

This is false. There was never any attempt to trace the guns under F&F. That was merely the cover story.

But the agency ordered an immediate halt to the practice calling it highly improper.

Only once they had been caught red handed. Bush did ground Operation Wide Receiver when they lost track of one (1) shipment, but that had nothing to do with Fast & Furious.

Typical See-BS "News."

So why is this even "news"?

The US Congress and Holder now repeatedly
give al Qaeda (the Enemy from the 911 Atrocities)
SAMs, and MANPADs and intel and wide-open borders.

Oh, here they come now:

Sure. After how many thousands sold into Mexico?

And what no one talks about in the press, how many more thousands into Honduras?

I supposed it all depends on how you define "immediate" to a bovine and incurious media.

Actually, Sharyl Atkisson has been good on FF and Benghazi. I understand the dismissal of any story from the msm, but I also believe in giving credit when it's due.

Who else is going to keep the phoney scandals ginned up?

“There was never any attempt to trace the guns under F&F. That was merely the cover story.”

And a pretty lame one at that.

What really annoys me about this is, if Mexico was not so interested in exporting their leaches to the US and therefore in no mood to upset the Obama apple cart, they would be complaining about this 24/7 on the international stage. No, because it would hurt the immigration changes they want, they are willing to look the other way over a matter orchestrated by two senior US government officians to ship weapons to their homeland now used to murder their civilians.

“It does if the end objective was to attack the 2nd Amendment.”

I hate to think that our government can be so sinister but I really think that our government can be so sinister. The program simply defies its own purported logic.

Don’t forget domestic sales

From http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2774568/posts

Update: F&F vanguard blogger David Codrea has another investigative scoop with extensive documents on how ATF/FBI directed Indiana crime gun sales to U.S. street gangs.

Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars wants to know what Chicago ATF head Andrew Traver knows. (My background column on Traver is here.)

That story was stomped on very early but here’s a question;

Anybody familiar with the Folks and the People?

Here’s a push.

I know.
But when dealing with leftists who believe the end justifies the means, sinister is the least of our worries on it.
It is what has not yet come to light that is even more troubling.
And, obviously, there’s more to come to light.
Look at Benghazi and the weapon running to Syrian Al-Qeada they were doing from there.

They were complaining about it 24/7 when it looked like this was leading to a major lawsuit against US gun manufacturers. Holder of course was encouraging them to do just that.

Then the whole thing blew up and they went quiet once it was clear that Obama was behind it. Weird.
